The Boles Jr. High Technology Lab is set up by Synergistic Systems, Inc.  The curriculum is based on self directed learning in a modular setting.  Students work in pairs at individual modules one rotation (7days). After each rotation the students will move to a different module.  The different modules are listed below.

Grades in the Technology Lab are based on a point system.  Each day the student receives points for different activities. Daily attendance and participation is 20 points a day.  RCA's (research, challenge, and application) on days 2,3,4,&5 are worth 30 points a day. A post test on day 7 is worth 100 points.  There are 3 assessments occurring during  the rotation worth 20 points each. There are a possible 420 points per rotation.  The students grade is determined by their number of points divided by 420. Students may earn extra points by doing a "technical writing" paragraph.

Students need to make arrangements to come in before or after school to complete any work they may have missed due to an absence.  It is essential that a student makes up their work in the lab.
