Hutcheson Junior High torn down
Jan. 12, 2016 - Hutcheson Junior High is gone. The building - in the process of demolition since June - has now been completely leveled. In its place, the AISD will build a districtwide Career and Technical Center.
The demolition process is not quite finished though. It will continue through February to tear up the foundation and remove all the rubble. Once the remnants of Hutcheson are completely gone, construction of the new center will begin. The new facility is scheduled to open in the summer of 2017.
