Future elementary school goes vertical

Feb. 2, 2016 - The future Eddy and Debbie Peach Elementary started to look like a real building this week. The school on Baird Farm Road in north Arlington has been under construction for several months, but steel just began to be erected this week.

The work until now has included many tasks related to getting the site ready and installing utilities and foundation. The construction of Peach Elementary is being managed by Balfour Beatty Construction, following plans designed by Perkins+Will. Peach is scheduled to open next August for the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
