The Deputy Superintendent assists the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the instructional program of the school district. The Deputy Superintendent manages the district's curriculum areas, including elementary and secondary instruction, special education, bilingual/ESL, and career/technology. The Deputy Superintendent is responsible for the development of instructional programs that will improve student performance.
