The Science/Health Curriculum Department serves the district by disseminating current curricular materials to all of the elementary and secondary teachers who teach science and health. The Coordinator is responsible for developing curriculum documents for all science and health courses; adoption of all books and materials for the science and health courses; serves as a co-chairperson for the Health Education Advisory Council; and is responsible for the professional staff development for all teachers of science and health.
