- provides information on grant availability and technical assistance to district staff, primarily from state and federal governmental sources
- serves as the district contact for all grant applications and awards
- coordinates collaboration between community agencies
- coordinates district wide grants communication
- locates funding sources
- develops grant writing strategies
- interprets the applications process
- establishes timelines
- develops winning proposals
- successfully implements grant funded programs, and
- monitors timely review and submission of grant reports
