program is designed to provide year round developmentally appropriate
tutoring, enrichment activities, and support services to Pre-K,
elementary,
junior high and high school students in transitional living situations.
The primary focus of the program is to provide continuity for the
learner and a positive experience utilizing instruction and education

- Identify
students who lack permanent housing.
- Help
students enter into the most appropriate program for school success.
- Refer
students and their families to the appropriate community resources
for their needs (housing, clothes, food, etc).
- Encourage
good grades and school attendance
- Help
with school enrollment and breakfast/lunch services.
- Adventure
Clubs (after school tutoring and enrichment activities).
- Serve
students in transition who are pregnant and/or parenting a child.

- Visit
families as needed.
- Help
with transportation issues.
- Encourage
college and training programs after high school.
- Provide
tutoring, counseling and social skills programs.
- Emergency
assistance with school supplies and clothing.
- Scholarships
for summer school, driver's education and GED.
- Help
in getting evaluations and information for school programs.
- Promote
parental involvement and participation in family literacy.
