The focus of sixth grade is to prepare students for a successful transition to junior high school. In addition to stressing the required curriculum, emphasis is placed on problem-solving strategies, organization and personal responsibility. We take pride in the accomplishments of our sixth graders and feel they are well prepared for any junior high school when they leave Ellis Elementary.
