Restart Manager
The goal of Restart is to improve, enhance, and increase student and staff performance. Restart is a systematic, problem-solving process which provides support to teachers and students in the classroom. Through this process of discussion and assessing, the teachers are able to determine what practices will work best in their classroom for their students, in order to meet them at their point of need. We believe a problem-solving community is the foundation for professional and student learning. As Restart Manager, I work to support both teachers and students at Ellis Elementary.

Instructional Facilitator
As Instructional Facilitator, the focus of my job is to increase student performance, particularly in Science. Science is questioning, investigating, explaining...and fun! I help our faculty become more efficient and effective in the delivery of science instruction by supplying and scheduling the science lab, researching and communicating science standards and curriculum, team teaching science and providing support for experienced teachers, and mentoring new teachers. Another focus of my job is maintenance and organization of our Literacy Library. This includes cataloging materials, ordering new texts based on student needs and expanding the Science section of the Literacy Library. The best part of my job is working with so many talented teachers and inquiring young minds here at Ellis!

Family School Representative
The role of the Family School Representative is to facilitate communication and foster partnership between the home and the school. I am available to assist parents with school related needs and look forward to planning activities this year that will help parents better support their children in school. My role is to ensure that parents are full partners in their child's education at Ellis Elementary.
