I taught and coached in the San Antonio Independent School
District for 5 years before moving to Arlington as assistant
basketball coach at the University of Texas at Arlington for
one year. I was named head coach and served for 11 years at
UTA before coaching and teaching Government in the Irving
Independent School District. I became a counselor at Nichols
Junior HS before moving to the same position at Lamar.
