Tuesday January 29, 2008-Gathering the Goods...
Today everyone began to turn in the copies of their assigned scenes. Next week we will be having three people work on making the scripts flow. Our script is turning out to be a full-length film which is great news. Other than that we also announced that the final deadline for script submissions is Febuary 1st.
Wednesday October 3rd, 2007-PLOT DAY
Today was the discussion about our upcoming Film Club film. We had a lot of people show up brainstorming ideas on what would make a good film for this year. It looks like we'll probably be making a movie and a documentary of some sort. I won't post the ideas up but I will post the final decision once it has been made. Stay tuned for next week when we'll be showing Badlands during the movie day!
Tuesday September 18th, 2007-Homecoming is near...
This meeting was all about homecoming and more discussion on what will happen at future meetings. We made our banner as well for the homecoming food drive...pictures will be available soon. We also talked about how we're doing meetings this year. One week we will have a general meeting whether it be about our film club film or happenings in the club it'll just be a meeting. The next week we'll have a movie day where we watch a movie, sometimes it'll take 2-3 days to finish the film but as always you can come and go as you please. Our first movie day will be on the 25th of September. See you there!
Friday September 7th, 2007-The Intro
The first meeting of the 2007-2008 school year was a big success. We had about 20 or so members show up, most of them brand new to the club! During this meeting we did the usual introductions of the officers. Soon after we went around the room and asked everyone their name, what movies they like, and what they have talent in. We have a variety of talented members this year ranging from musicians to actors. We also discussed our plan to have an "official" Film Club film produced this year. Dues are of course still due if you haven't payed them yet so be sure and bring them by Mr. Hopkins room 103.
