MNHS is the National Honor Society of Martin High School. National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in this organization since its beginnings in 1921.
Revisions to the membership selection to Martin's chapter of the National Honor Society have been implemented. These revisions include:
- Fall induction of Juniors and Seniors
- A revised information form
- A minimum 10.0 GPA
- No Cs or Fs in Citizenship
To This Year's Juniors:
Remember to acquire at least 20 hours this year in order to continue your membership into your senior year. Some hours may carry over into next year.
Attention All Members:
- Hour Due Dates
- 5 Hours: MM/DD/YYYY
- 10 Hours: MM/DD/YYYY
- 15 Hours: MM/DD/YYYY
- 20 Hours: MM/DD/YYYY
Meetings: Keep in mind that all members must attend at least two meetings a semester. Students attending more than two meetings will get half an hour for each additional meeting. Upcoming meeting will be on October 12th.
Fall TAG gifts: October- All Tricks No Treats, November - candle, December - holiday card.
