Meetings are paramount to the effectiveness of a National Honor Society chapter. Meetings are the gathering of the chapter body in one place in order to discuss the chapter's affairs. In meetings, members will make chapter decisions, discuss upcoming events pertaining to the chapter, and will be informed of any chapter-wide changes in effect. If meetings are administered correctly, the chapter should run like a well oiled machine; reducing any friction caused by misinformation or unawareness of chapter policy.
Meetings fall under two different categories:
- General : Below are the times and dates of future meetings of the National Honor Society, where we discuss current events in NHS. All NHS members must attend a minimum of two meetings per semester. Meetings take place in the Little Theater during lunch.
- September 12
- October 18
- November 14
- December 12
- January 16
- February 13
- March 6
- April 10
- Officers : The times and dates of future meetings of the National Honor Society's Officers, where all the officers convene to plan and rehearse the general meetings, will be posted soon. NHS officers, and only officers, may attend meetings. Meeting locations are subject to change. Any organization needing help from NHS should contact our sponsors prior to each meeting so their matter can be discussed.
