This is my third year at Martin, and I am really excited to be here. The students and staff are tremendous to work with. It is my 21st year in education, the last 11 years in building administration. I graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1981. I went to the University of Texas at Arlington for my undergraduate degree and The University of North Texas for my master's degree. My wife, Madonna, and I have two kids, Aaron and Kristen. We spend our free time enjoying sports, movies, traveling, and doing family things. |

I've been in education for 14 years, all with AISD. This is my third consecutive year at Martin High School. Previously I taught honors biology for one year at Martin, giving me a total of 4 years at Martin. I grew up in Ferriday, Louisiana--home to Mickey Gilley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Jimmy Swaggart (the infamous cousins). I attended Northeast Louisiana University which is presently University of Louisiana at Monroe where I majored in pre-med. My masters degree is from the University of Texas (Arlington). I am married with one daughter and a tabby cat named Jessi. During my free time, I enjoy reading fiction crime dramas by Cornwell and Patterson and watching the television series CSI and Law and Order. |

I have been in education for 27 years, 17 years as a classroom teacher and 9 years as a building administrator. I taught 6 years at Martin and was an assistant principal at Boles for a year and a half before returning to Martin. I am now in my 8th year as an assistant principal at Martin. My hometown was Fort Worth, Texas, where I attended Arlington Heights High School. I completed my Masters Degree in Education from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Currently, my husband and I live in Arlington. Both of my children graduated from Martin, and both presently attend college. My interests away from school include running, reading, gardening; and I like to cook when I have the time. We have several cats and one Welsh Corgi dog, Emma. |
