| 7/11/08 | The Directors | Congrats to Lauren, Zee, and Maria for the success at the Texas A&M Commerce Drum Major Camp. 95 Drum Majors attended the camp. Lauren placed 2nd in the Individual Conducting Competition. The team of all three won Outstanding Drum Majors at the Camp, as selected by the camp staff, as well as winning 1st place in the Team Conducting Competition. |

on a spectacular performance this past Saturday, 03/08/08. The entire
show is beautiful, the girls were breathtaking and I am so proud of
all of you!! The hard work you girls put in really shows! And your
smiles lit up the entire place!!! You have worked hard and deserve
to be very proud of yourselves!! Love you all!!

| 3/3/08 | Miss Hay | Thank you to everyone who helped make UIL Solo & Ensemble happen this past weekend! I couldn't have done it without the student set up and tear down crews, the parent monitors, the office workers (Jackie, Ellyn, Maria, George, and Laura), and a special thank you to Dawn & Joe Coleman and Peggy & Bill Brady for all of your work! Without these people, the contest would not have been so successful! |

today's golf tournament. You guys worked hard, were polite and
did it all with a great attitude. The work you did is an integral
part of today's success. You make us proud to be Martin Band

for all of your planning/organization of the "Band Fan"
trip to BOA-Houston. Everything went great and we had a wonderful
time. It was amazing to see the kids perform under the weather circumstances
without complaint, and then to step it up to a whole new level in
the finals! Totally awesome! Again, many thanks for all the tireless hours you and the other directors put into our kids! It makes a difference, and it shows! Good luck on Saturday, We'll be there in red cheering on the band. |
