Welcome
Bienvenue sur mon site! Welcome to my site! It's a pleasure to be able to share my love of French language and culture with my students! This is my sixth year at Martin, and I spent many years teaching at the college level, as well as two years living in France, before putting down roots here in Arlington. I teach all levels of French, but this year my French courses are French II and PAP French III.

Click here to view my complete French site or here for a briefer look at what's going on now.

In addition to teaching French, I am also a lab manager in Credit Retrieval. It's a wonderful opportunity to work one-on-one with students in a variety of subjects, and to help them move toward their ultimate goal--GRADUATION!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if you would just like to know more about your child's teacher!  My contact information is listed on the left.

Credit Retrieval
What is Credit Retrieval?
Credit Retrieval is a class where students may work at their own pace on the computer to "retrieve" credit from a core course they failed. There are several advantages to regaining credit in this way:
  • Students repeat only the six weeks they failed, rather than the entire semester.
  • Students are able to regain credit in more than one class at a time. For example, a student may redo one six weeks in math and two in English, thereby completing the needed credit for both classes.
  • Students work at their own pace.
  • Students have access to one-on-one help when they need it.
  • Students receive immediate feedback for the work they do on the computer.
Credit Retrieval also offers flexible scheduling. Students may be scheduled in Credit Retrieval as part of their regular class schedule, attend the After School program (M-Th 3:00 - 5:00), work during lunch Monday thru Thursday, or any combination of the above.

For more information about Credit Retrieval, contact Victoria Luckett at vluckett@aisd.net or 682.867.8700.
