Welcome to my World Geography website.  I am completing my fourth year at Martin and third year of teaching World Geography.  My first year here was spent teaching American History & Economics.  Prior to coming to Martin, I taught 7th grade Texas History.  For the last three years, I have taught World Geography.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BA in History/Political Science and I have done graduate work in Public Administration at the University of North Texas.  I hold certification in Secondary Composite Social Studies.  Both of my children are graduates of Martin.  I too, am an AISD graduate, having graduated from Arlington High School.  I love teaching students about their world through a variety of activities.  It is my hope that my students will take these lessons and use them as building blocks to gain the knowledge that will serve them well in their future endeavors as part of our increasingly global society.
