Ratio Help Page
What are ratios? They tell us how one number is related to another number.
How do you write one? They may be written A:B, A/B, or A to B.
What does it mean? In the ration 1:10, the second number is ten times as large as the first number.
How can I find the value of a variable when one variable and the ratio is given? Check the example below.
Example: What is the value of B if A = 4 and the ratio of A:B is 2:5?
