Members of the Reading club consists of Sixth Grade students, Bilingual Fifth Grade students and Second Grade students (bilingual and regular). The Sixth Grade students will be matched up with Second Grade students to serve as reading mentors two or three times per week. Partners will work on reading interest, fluency, and comprehension. The students will receive "givable" books to take home each week. Rewards and incentives will be provided to celebrate student success.
