MHS Library

Martin High School has a beautiful library facility where students do research, study, or browse the collection. There are three classroom seating areas available to students and faculty for instructional purposes. The library also has twenty-six computer for student use. These computers can access online library databases materials including Gale Resources, Facts-on-File, and Grolier Online Encyclopedia.

Goal

Our goal is to insure quality education by providing access to resources in all formats, by providing guidance in the use of these resources, and by working together with the students and staff to meet the needs of the Martin community.

General Information

  • Library hours are from 7:20 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
  • Student I.D. is required to access the Internet if you are not in class.
  • Student I.D. is required to check out a book.
  • Books are loaned for two weeks at a time and may be renewed.
  • An overdue fine of 10 cents per day is charged for overdue books.
  • Fines for lost or damaged books vary up to the price of the book.
  • Printing from any network computer costs 5 cents per page for text only and 10 cents per page for graphics and text.
  • Food and drink are not permitted in the library.
  • A student copy machine is located in the library. Each copy costs 10 cents.
