Science

The Science Department encourages academic excellence and the importance of developing each student's potential. The importance of "scientific literacy" in an advanced technological society places demands on educational system to produce graduates with the ability to comprehend and function effectively in that society. It is for this reason that we have developed such a versatile website. Our site allows students to access a variety of information to assist the educational process. The website offers useful information such as calendars, notes, course outlines, useful tools, and relevant links to online resources. The site is updated frequently to provide for the students needs. It is our hope that each student finds the information helpful in learning.

The science department is a pioneer in bringing computer use into the curriculum. The science faculty has found this method to be very successful in conjunction with normal teaching practices. Here at Martin we offer a variety of courses to enrich students' lives, and to prepare them for the future.
