As the principal of Martin High School, I feel a sense of pride and joy in the accomplishments and achievements of our school. I am proud to be the principal of a school that has outstanding teachers, excellent parental and community support, and an active student body.

I am from Lubbock, Texas, where I am the third generation of educators/administrators in my family. My husband Jimmy is also an educator and the principal at Lamar High School in Arlington. I graduated from Lubbock Monterey High School and Texas Tech University.

I am now in my 24th year as an AISD employee. My career began at the original Bowie High School where I taught biology. I have been in administration for 19 years and dedicated the last 15 years to Martin High School. As the principal of Martin High School, my expectation is that students will realize their potential and set life-long goals that enhance their family, school, and community.
