The Texan Library offers you a well-equipped and attractive area for research and reading. The library is located on the second floor of the main building with entrances on the east and west sides. Each student is issued a student identification card and a lanyard at the beginning of each school year. This ID will be used for various school activities and to check out library materials. If you are a new student or have lost your ID, please contact the Library Staff. |

The procedure to check out books is as follows:
If you have an overdue book or owe a fine, please see the Library Staff. A list of overdue books will be sent to each teacher every Monday. The student must clear his/her record before grades can be given at the end of a testing period. The library has eleven computers with internet access. The internet is to be used for school assignments only. (No E-mail, chat-rooms, or games.) The student must have an internet pass issued by one of their teachers in order to use the internet. Any student who does not follow the internet acces rules will be asked to leave the library. Students may also use the library word processors and printers for school assignments. A copier is provided for the copying of educational materials. A pass is required for admittance to the library during the school day including during lunch. Students have open access to the library before and after school. As you finish using library books, please return them to the Book Return Cart at the Circulation Desk. All magazines and information file articles should be returned to the Magazine Room at the end of each period. Students will be charged for the following:
