International French Club

2011-2012

By-Laws

1. The purpose of the International French Club is to foster and promote French-related culture and recreational activities. The International French Club aims tofurther the internationalization of our campus by creating a forum in which international students from French-speaking and non-French speaking countries, native speakers of French, and non-native speakers in the process of learning culture may interact.

2. All school rules will be applied during our club activities.

3. There will be a minimum of 5 meetings per year, times and dates determined by officers.

4. All officers must be in a current French class due to communication accessibility, or haven previously taken a French course with Mr. Frasier.

5. There will be one President of the International French Club from level III or IV.

6. There will be one Vice-President per level including French I, II, III, and IV acting as program chairs.

7. There will be one Secretary to take minutes, to keep accurate membership and attendance records.

8. There will be one Treasurer to help the advisors collect money during the meetings.

9. There will be one Historian to document events.

10. There will be a Webmaster to help facilitate information via Internet.

11. There will be a Digital Photographer to document events by photo.

12. There will be run-off alternates who fill in should elected officers cannot fulfill their duties and are reassigned.

13. Dues will be $5.00 per year and must be paid prior to voting for officers and running for an office.

14. Committees will be formed at the request of the President.

15. Members will be required to attend 3 meetings per year to remain in good standing and to maintain their membership in the club.

16. Members and officers can be reassigned if the officers see it fit to make amends.
