When And Where Is The Test Given?
Except during July and AISD holidays,
testing is every
Thursday, 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
(Doors will be locked at 4:15) and the
second Saturday of each month 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (Doors will be locked at 7:50 am)

It takes at least two Thursdays to complete the test battery.

On rare occasion it may become necessary for the
Arlington GED Testing Center to cancel or reschedule testing dates.

In the event of incliment weather please check the AISD.net website
for closings, if the District is closed so is the Test Center.


How Do I Get Information?
Call (682) 867-6413 for an informational announcement. We will be closed in July and during school holidays or other AISD Closings.

What Is The Cost?
A fee of $100 for all five sections of the GED Test is required at the time of registration. The one-time fee is non-refundable. If you fail a section of a test, a fee of $20 will be charged for your retest of that section.

Requirements: Government Issued Picture I.D. (driver’s license, passport, DMV I.D., Military I.D.).
Age 17 must also have withdrawal form from school and an official TEA parent permission form availabe on site.
Sixteen year olds may take the test only under court order for truancy only.
Bring:
Money order for $100.00 or $20.00 for each retest,
$20 transfer from another test center
A Government Issued picture ID. (Texas ID or Driver's Liense
Know your Social Security Number or have your card.
Seventeen year old examinees must have written parent TEA permission form and a school withdrawal form in order to register for the exam.
Sixteen year olds may take the test only under court order for truancy.
Do NOT Bring:
Purse, cell phone, beeper, paper, hat, or calculator.
You may bring a wallet if it fits in your pocket

NO GED Testing will be allowed if you have an electronic device.
