The Boys Basketball team advanced to the Area round of the playoffs! They will next play on Saturday, February 25, at 5:00, at the American Airlines Center of the Dallas Mavericks. Tickets will be sold until 3:00 pm on Friday, February 24. Ticket prices for the Lower Section are $15; $10 for the Upper Section. Also, it will cost $10 to park. Seguin Nation will be taking two buses, first-come, first-served. See Coach Lynn for details.
Congratulations to our JV Tennis team, which returned from the Burleson JV Invitation for the 2nd year in a row with the 1st Place team trophy in hand! Eleven players won individual trophies at the event. The Cougars swept the mixed doubles events, with Larry N. and Tina D. winning the A-bracket; and Andy P. and Amy T. won the B-bracket. Morris N. and Duy N. each took 1st Place in Boys A-Doubles; Rachel O. won the Girls B-Singles draw. In Girls A-Singles, Tran N. took 2nd Place. In Boys Singles, Kevin V. placed 3rd in the A-draw, while Andrew N. took 3rd Place in the B-draw, and Vincent P. won the Consolation bracket. Way to go, Cougars!
There will be a Junior class meeting at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 24, after school in Ms. Crowder's room A118.

Also, please remember to bring sports equipement or healthy snacks to donate to the Boys and Girls Club. Special rewards will be given if we, as a club, can reach our goal of 20-50 items! The After Prom Committee is now selling Sonic breakfast burritos and Sunny Delights on Fridays until May 18, 2012. Burritos will sell for $2 and Sunny Delights for $1, Thank you for you support!
