Congratulations to our marching band students and their directors (Robert Poulin, Chris Evans, and Bobby Pospsil) for earning the Division I Award! (To see some pictures, click on Britton's Tweets in the left-side navigation bar.)
Also, on October 15, our Seguin High School award-winning chamber choir sang at the Grand Re-opening of Walmart Market Place, located on Debbie Land and Matlock. The Chamber Choir also received a $1,000 Community Grant! Way to go, Chamber Choir, Mr. Rinn (Director), and Ms. Zrust (Assistant Director)!

Congratulations, Octavia! Congratulations to one of our fabulous students, Octavia Tate! Octavia is a senior basketball player, a football trainer, a member of AVID, and a Soar mentor. She is also the recipient of the ESPN Rise Above Award! Octavia will get the opportunity to see behind the scenes of Monday Night Football on Monday, October 25, at Cowboys Stadium, as well as attend a luncheon in her honor. There she will be given her award, a donation to Seguin High School, and be interviewed for an article oin ESPN Rise.com.
