We are an alternative school that assists the seven high schools within the Arlington ISD. The school has been in operation since September 1994. Turning Point is located at the corner of Green Oaks Blvd and Arkansas Lane. Our program is a structured program for high school students, designed to modify a student's behavior and provide opportunities for academic success.
TPHS' goal is to educate our students in performing successfully at their home campus environment. We use a modified version of the Boy's Town Program, which centers on positive reinforcement and teaches students essential life skills. In addition, we hope to motivate our students to make better choices by applying 6 main social skills in their everyday lives.
