When And Where Is The Test Given? |
Except during July and AISD holidays,
testing is every Thursday, 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
(Doors will be locked at 4:15) and the second Saturday of each month 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (Doors will be locked at 7:50 am)
It takes at least two test sessions to complete the test battery.
On rare occasion it may become necessary for the
Arlington GED Testing Center to cancel or reschedule testing dates.

What Is The Cost? |
A fee of $80 for all five sections of the GED Test is required at the time of registration. The one-time fee is non-refundable. If you fail a section of a test, a fee of $16 will be charged for your retest of that section.

Government Issued Picture I.D. (driver’s license, passport, DMV I.D., Military I.D.).
Age 17 must also have withdrawal form from school and written parent permission. Sixteen year olds may take the test only under court order. |

A Government Issued picture ID.
Know your Social Security Number or have your card.
Seventeen year old examinees must have written parent permission and a school withdrawal form in order to register for the exam.
Sixteen year olds may take the test only under court order.
