Fourth Grade Policies
The “Knightly Communicator” is a weekly
documentation of the student’s behavior. It must be brought home and initialed every night. On Friday, it should be signed by the
parent and returned on the following Monday morning. If it is not returned on Monday, the student will be
reminded to bring it back on Tuesday.
If on Tuesday it is still not returned, the student will receive a
warning on his/her communicator and will miss recess.
The homework sheet is a weekly documentation of the student’s work outside of class. It is to be brought home every night so that you can check to see if your child has homework. Homework will be assigned as needed. It is suggested that your child spend at least 40 minutes every night finishing class work, doing assigned homework, reading, practicing spelling words and math facts, or working on special projects.
At the end of the
year, one boy and one girl from each classroom will be chosen to receive the
VFW. To qualify, the students must
have high academics, great attendance, and perfect citizenship.
