We always read the novel MANIAC MAGEE by Jerry Spinelli. In the novel, "Maniac" Jeffrey Magee loves butterscotch Krimpets. One of my students actually found some and brought them for the class to taste. (I didn't even know there was such a thing; I thought it was made up, but it wasn't.) Here is Elizabeth and her Krimpets:

reason my original box of Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets disappeared!
But . . . Connor and his grandmother came to the rescue! She got
on the internet and ordered some for us. I must admit, the "new and
improved" Krimpets were much better. Here is Connor with the new box.
