In accordance with AISD policy, as found in the Student Code of Conduct, that requires all secondary students to be issued student ID's and for the schools to enforce that they be worn, we are issuing official ID cards to the students.Students must utilize these badges in the library, cafeteria, and to attend extracurricular activities such as games and dances.

The badges must be worn above the waist and visible to AISD employees at all times. Badges cannot be worn underneath clothing and cannot be carried in a student’s pocket, backpack, bag, purse, etc. We will provide a lanyard for the students to wear with their ID, but they may choose to use another lanyard if they like. Students can only wear the official ID card that belongs to them and their photo and name must remain visible at all times on their ID. ID card checks will be done daily and students who do not wear their ID card will be subject to the policy below:

1st ID replacement: Student pays cost of $1.00 for a temporary ID

2nd ID replacement: Student pays cost of $1.00 for a temporary ID plus Lunch D-hall

3rd ID replacement: Student pays cost of $1.00 for a temporary ID plus Principal's D-hall

4th ID replacement: Student pays cost of $1.00 for a temporary ID plus 2 days Principal's D-hall

5th ID replacement: Student pays cost of $1.00 for a temporary ID plus 1 day OCS

6th and subsequent ID replacement: Student pays cost of $1.00 for a temporary ID plus Parent Conference and consequence to be determined at conference not to be less than 1 day OCS

All ID fines must be paid prior to students being able to attend dances and other selected YJH events. Students may purchase a replacement ID at any time for $3.00.
