Awards and Acknowledgements

According to the Texas Education Agency, "the Gold Performance Acknowledgment (GPA) system acknowledges districts and campuses for high performance on indicators other than those used to determine accountability ratings." On the junior high level, acknowledgment is given to campuses for high performance on:

  • Attendance Rate
  • Commended Performance: Reading/English Language Arts
  • Commended Performance: Mathematics
  • Commended Performance: Writing
  • Commended Performance: Science
  • Commended Performance: Social Studies
  • Comparable Improvement:Reading/English Language Arts
  • Comparable Improvement: Mathematics
