School Schedule
- Doors open at 7:45 am
- Tardy bell at 8:20 am
- Dismissal at 3:29 pm
Daily Schedule for PRE-K:
- Morning session: 8:20 – 11:20 a.m.
- Doors open at 8:15 a.m.
- No PreK student should be on campus prior to 8:15 a.m.
- Afternoon session: 12:35 – 3:35 p.m.
- Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
Start Time and Tardies
The start time for school is 8:20 am. All classrooms open at 8:05 a.m. and students eat breakfast, turn in homework, start on daily warm up activities and prepare for the day. Plan for your child to arrive at school between 8:05 – 8:15. Students who arrive after 8:20 are marked tardy for the day.
Arrival at School Before 7:40 AM.
At no time should a child be on campus prior to 7:40 a.m. The front doors will open at 7:40 and students may come to the cafeteria to work on homework or quietly read. They must have work or a book with them. At 8:05 students will be dismissed to their classrooms and breakfast will be served.
Student Early Pick Up
If you are checking your child out of school early, you will be asked to present a photo identification. The office will only release students to those listed on the enrollment card.
We’re asking that no student be picked up after 3:00 PM. The time from 3:00 – 3:35 PM is a time where teachers are preparing homework, reviewing lessons, and getting students ready to finish up projects. Please help the classroom out by not arriving early to pick your child up.
Appointments should be scheduled to minimize time lost from academic instruction.
Reporting Absences
If your child is absent from school, you need to call the office between 7:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. to report the absence. Please call 682-867-7750 and let the office know. If you do not call, your child’s absence is unexcused.
