Hello parents,

We made it to Thanksgiving Break!!!

In the spirit of the season, I would like to thank YOU. So many ups and downs of this year, but I knew I could count on understanding students and parents. Thank you for your support and help to make this the best year possible.

Also, as we enter the final weeks of the semester, we would like to invite you to please take a few minutes today to check your child's grades in the Parent Self-Serve Portal. This can be accessed on the District website at

If you have more than one child in AISD, you only need to register one time.

While in the parent portal, please check to see if your student is missing any assignments or needs to make up any work or assessments. If your child is missing any assignments or assessments, we encourage you to work with your child's teacher(s) to complete them and ensure they meet passing requirements. If you have questions about grades or missing assignments and/or assessments, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher by phone or email. Campus counselors and administrators are also available to assist, if needed.

I want to give a big shout out to the Arlington High School Band for sweeping and receiving ones at competition earlier this week. Good luck at Area!!! Kick ‘em!!!

Also, congratulations to the Arlington High School Volleyball team on making it to the playoffs, which start tonight. Good luck on a strong run through the playoffs!!!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

PSAT for sophomores and juniors

On Tuesday, January 26th, all sophomores and juniors enrolled in Arlington ISD will have the opportunity to take the PSAT exam in person on campus free of charge.  Pre-registration is required by December 3rd. The link to register is listed below.

The PSAT not only provides insight into a student’s level of preparation for college courses, but it is also the standard by which juniors who take the PSAT may qualify as National Merit Scholarship finalists.  Additionally, PSAT test data will assist us in identifying your child’s academic strengths. Go to to access practice test materials.

Registration closes on December 3 and can be accessed at the following link.
