January 22, 2021

Parents,

Four day weeks always seem to pack the intensity of a regular week into four days rather than five, and this week was no exception. Even during hybrid instruction, we can still feel the hustle and bustle that is the Spring Semester. A lot of announcements pertaining to spring testing and other events are sure to come; so as always, keep a look out. This message is definitely a good start, but also use our Facebook and Twitter as excellent sources of information. And as always, if you have questions, please feel free to reach out at sdhalla@aisd.net.

See below for important announcements.

One Last Picture Day for 9-11 Grade

We've got ONE MORE DAY for yearbook pictures! If your freshman, sophomore, or junior was unable to take their yearbook picture on campus last week, you are in luck! Lifetouch Photography will be back on campus Monday, Jan. 25. I have asked every teacher to help us get the students to the auditorium for pictures. As long as your child has their picture taken by the photographers in the auditorium between 8 and 3 on Monday, they will be in the yearbook.

If you child will not be on campus that day, they can come by between 8 and 3 and run in for their picture or you can submit a picture through http://bit.ly/AHSyearbookphoto. The deadline to submit a picture is January 29.

Questions? Please call Emily Miller at 682-867-6496 or email emiller5@aisd.net.

Message from MGM

MGM - Hey parents!  Hey friends!  Hey supporters!  We Need YOU!!

We are trying so very hard to make this year special for our Seniors--the Class of 2021!  We don't know yet if they will get a Prom, but we are planning for it!  If it doesn't happen, we will have a back-up plan for our seniors!  We need your support to make this special!  Please make a donation today to fund our After-Prom party...or a Senior Celebration.   Every donation will go to fund something for the AHS class of 2021.  If you know the name of an AHS Senior, type it in the box after you click on your donation amount.  The Seniors rack up points with each donation.  Thank you for helping us celebrate our Senior Class of 2021.
