Today 571 of our student athletes were able to get a presentation on mental health, addiction, decision making and coping skills. Thanks to Coach Peach and Coach Scott for helping organize this and to all the coaches for giving up time for our kids to hear the presentation.
The presentation was done by the district interventionists and our own support staff of Karin Havens and Sam Salas. The importance of mental health and self care was on spotlight today with a huge chunk of our students. We are the only high school in AISD to have organized this for our student athletes. Proud of our Colts and to be a Colt!
