Hi Colts,

Our end of October has been full of fun at Arlington High. We are excelling in fall sports and multiple groups are preparing for playoffs and regional tournaments. Our Fine Arts programs have seen tremendous success and are continuing to score well at contests. And we just inducted our upperclassmen into National Honor Society for their excellence in academics, service, and leadership.

Fentanyl

Please see the attachment about the drug Fentanyl. It's important to talk to your students often about the dangers of drug use and vaping. I talk to my own kids about it almost every day. They roll their eyes at me and tell me "We know, we know," but I will not stop. I encourage you all to continue to do the same. They are hearing you. 

Yearbook Pictures

The 2022-2023 yearbook pictures are now available! If you did not purchase a package on or prior to underclassmen picture day, you can log in at http://cady.com/orderphotos and order your 2022-2023 school pictures today! Make-up/retake picture day for 9th, 10th and 11th is Tuesday, Nov. 15, 9:15-11:15 in the A Gym Foyer.

Seniors have two more on-campus opportunities to have their yearbook picture taken by Cady. Photographers will be here Tuesday, Nov. 2 and again Wednesday, Nov. 16. They will be in the A Gym Foyer from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. both days. To schedule your Simple Session for November 2, go to http://cady.com/schedule.

I want to give a shout-out to Coach Scott Peach for becoming the most winningest coach in Arlington High School history with the Colts' win over Bowie on 10/7. What an honor it is to be able to be a part of Arlington High School with such an exceptional person. Thank you all for being a part of this amazing village.
