Principal’s Message October 12, 2018  TRADUCCIÓN AL ESPAÑOL DISPONIBLE

October 12, 2018

I want to thank all of the senior parents that came out for our first ever AHS Senior Parent Night. The turnout was huge. There was a lot of great information presented. If you missed it, and have any specific questions regarding your child’s senior year, please email me at

There are a lot of great things happening at AHS, but I want to take a moment to highlight two of them that you can see for yourself tonight. First, our band is in the middle of a great year. They competed in last weekend’s Mansfield Preview of Champions competition. They came in 2nd in their class and 6th overall. The band continues to build on this success this Tuesday, where they will compete in UIL competition. Second, I’d like to give a shout out to our undefeated football team. The Colts are currently 5-0. It is an incredibly fun team to watch. So, if you are free tonight, come out to UTA stadium and watch your Colt Band and Colt Football team. You’ll definitely be impressed with what you see on the field and off.
