Principal’s Message January 10, 2020 TRADUCCIÓN EN ESPAÑOL DISPONIBLE:

January 10, 2020

Happy New Year! Looking back at 2019, what an amazing first semester we had at AHS: sports victories, inspiring concerts, academic successes, and the opportunity to embrace COLTS family values! I could not be prouder of our students and faculty, but we won’t rest on our former achievements. One of the goals of Arlington High school is constant improvement.
The break gave me a chance to regroup, relax, and read. I came across this quote by Melody Beattie, “The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals.” Edith Lovejoy Pierce added, “We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter” begins today. These two quotes inspired me because I see the multitude of opportunities available to our students and the chance to help them set goals for their futures! Let’s work together fill the pages of our books with commitment, selflessness and improvement to make our second semester even better than the first.
