Principal’s Message January 17, 2020 TRADUCCIÓN EN ESPAÑOL DISPONIBLE:

January 17, 2020

We wrapped up another great week in Colt Country, although a little on the wet and cold side. Your child should have received their report card on Wednesday. If they did not, please let me know, so we can make sure you get a copy.

I want to thank everyone that came out to Colt Trail Drive last night. It was a huge turnout and is just the first step that many students take in becoming part of the COLTS Family!!!

 Testing News

What is this thing called the TSI and do I have to take it?

The purpose of the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSI) is to measure a student’s readiness for college-level course work. The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Program is mandated by state law and requires all students attending a public institution of higher education to prove they are ready to take entry-level college courses which require reading, writing and math skills.  The test is computer-based and must be administered in a proctored environment

AHS is offering the TSI test to Seniors. We also have tutoring opportunities in E200 during Plus. Students should see their counselor with questions regarding signing up to take this test.
