AHS Theatre had 4 theatre playwriting students make it into the TOP 20 in Circle Theatre’s High School Playwriting Contest!!!\u00a0 They will move on to the next round of contest where their plays are evaluated by playwriting students and professors at Texas Wesleyan!<\/p>\r\n

Each year, Circle Theatre proudly hosts the\u00a0High School Playwriting Project,<\/b>\u00a0a unique opportunity for young voices to shine on stage! We invite DFW Metroplex high school theatre teachers to submit their students’ 10-minute scripts, where emerging playwrights can have their work evaluated by an experienced panel of professional theater-makers and take their first steps into our vibrant creative community.<\/p>\r\n

Theatre teachers are Mrs. Jamie Pringle and Mr. Alfredo Tamayo<\/p>\r\n
