Dr. Kijuana Carter<\/strong><\/p>\n Dr. Kijuana began an assistant principal at Arlington High School in 2023-2024. . Carter\u00a0has been an assistant principal at Pearcy STEM Academy in the Arlington ISD since 2022. Prior to that, she was a counselor at Gunn Junior High and Fine Arts and Dual Language Academy from May to September of 2022.\u00a0Carter\u00a0was a counselor at Pearcy from 2015 to 2022. She taught eighth-grade history and coached at Shackelford Junior High in the Arlington ISD from 2010 to 2015. She taught health, dance, physical education and coached at Vanden High School in the Travis Unified Schools in California from 2005 to 2009. She taught health, physical education and was a coach at Hogan High School in the Valejo City Unified Schools in California from 2004 to 2005.
