Kimberly McGregor Teacher

Kim McGregor

My name is Kimberly McGregor and I have been a part of the Ashworth Family since 1997!  I have been a PTA parent volunteer, a substitute teacher and a tutor. I went through ECAP and became a teacher with an alternative certification because I already had a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems/Accounting. I began teaching First Grade in August of 2007. I taught First Grade for two years and was blessed with an opportunity to move up to Fifth Grade Math beginning in August of 2009.

I was honored as Teacher of the Year in 2010. I am in my eleventh year with our school district. My hope and prayer is that I can make Math understandable to students. My goal is to help them build on the number sense and mathematical concepts that they have already acquired. I LOVE MATH!!!

Personally, I have been married to my husband, Mark, for 34 years. We have three children – Meredith, Megan, and Matthew. Regretfully, our oldest daughter, Meredith, passed away in March of 2009. Megan and her husband, Jason, live in Justin, Texas. Megan is a published author and her husband does I.T. work for Honolulu Electric. Our son, Matthew, has a college degree in technical theater and is getting married to Brittany on December 8, 2017. All three of our children attended Ashworth and we are excited to see our family grow!

Welcome to the Ashworth Family!
