The end of the first 3 weeks of school is September 3rd. Teachers will enter progress grades and first six weeks progress reports will be distributed on September 8th. In addition, we have a student/staff holiday on September 6th. I have included some updated information regarding district COVID procedures. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
The school board voted last Thursday to contact trace students who were close contacts to a positive student/staff. We will notify you via email if your student was a close contact of a COVID positive individual. To view the district COVID procedures please click here.
To prevent disruptions to the learning environment and for safety, we cannot allow food deliveries from services such as Uber eats, door dash, etc.
National Junior Honor Society applications are available. 8th grade students please stop by Mrs. Hendrix’s classroom (Rm 108) to learn more details and pick up your application.

Athletic events start next week. The football games on 8/30 and 8/31 will start at 6:00pm and 7:30pm. The second game in ALL sports will start early if the 1st game finishes quickly. Students must be accompanied by an adult to enter the game.
Athletic ticket prices for Jr. High Contests: Adult ticket-$2.00, Student ticket- $1.00.

We started enforcing our tardy policy beginning on Monday, August 23rd. We will have random tardy sweeps during the year. During a tardy sweep students will be issued a detention.
1st Tardy = Teacher Warning
2nd Tardy =Teacher Warning and Parent Call
3rd Tardy = After school Dhall
4th Tardy = Teacher escort
