Today marked the end of the 3rd week of school. Progress reports will be distributed on September 8th. Remember that Monday is a school holiday.
We have seen an increase in COVID cases on our campus. You may view our dashboard by clicking here. As a reminder if your child is showing symptoms of illness, please keep them at home. Symptoms of COVID include the following:
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Loss of taste or smell
Muscle or body aches
Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
If you develop symptoms, stay home and contact your healthcare provider for testing. If you do not have a healthcare provider, email firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will contact you to schedule a rapid test appointment. If you would prefer a PCR test or find a COVID testing location in Tarrant County you may call 817-248-6299. ZAP (After school tutoring)
We will begin after school tutoring on September 7th. in room 220 from 4:10pm to 4:50pm. There will be a 5pm bus so that students that ride the bus can stay for tutoring. Students that have not been picked up from campus by 4:20pm will be asked to wait in ZAP until their ride arrives.
The Arlington ISD has a new app that will help parents and staff members navigate through the school year.
The Arlington ISD app, which is available to download here for Apple phones and here for Android phones, features everything from lunch menus to teacher contact information for families. It will also be a quick way to get district notifications.
To prevent disruptions to the learning environment and for safety, we cannot allow food deliveries from services such as Uber eats, door dash, etc.
National Junior Honor Society applications are available. 8th grade students please stop by Mrs. Hendrix’s classroom (Rm 108) to learn more details and pick up your application.

Athletic ticket prices for Jr. High Contests: Adult ticket-$2.00, Student ticket- $1.00.
Arlington ISD will offer two options for tickets for the upcoming school year. AISD will return to offering cash tickets at the gate and online tickets. https://www.aisd.net/district/departments/administration/athletics/
The second game in ALL sports will start early if the 1st game finishes quickly. Students must be accompanied by an adult to enter the game.
