\n\t\ud83d\udc3b THE BEAR NECESSITIES | WEEK 6

Barnett Families, this is one I really need you to read.

We have seen an increase in some serious student behaviors, and I am asking every family to have a direct conversation with your Bear this weekend.

This week\u2019s Bear Necessities addresses:

\ud83d\udcf1 Privacy, recording, AI and social media
\ud83d\udeab Personal boundaries and keeping hands to yourself
\u23f0 Getting to class on time
\u26a0\ufe0f Understanding that \u201cit was just a joke\u201d does not erase the impact or consequences of a poor choice

Junior high students are going to make mistakes. Our job is to teach, redirect, and help them learn. But some choices can have consequences that extend well beyond the classroom.

I would much rather we have these conversations with our students before a poor decision becomes a consequence that cannot be taken back.
