New CBOC members receive orientation

Oct. 20, 2015 - Three new members of the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee received an orientation yesterday to prepare them for their roles on the committee. Cindy Powell, AISD chief financial officer, explained to the new members the background behind the bond, along with the plans for its implementation. Then she was joined by other AISD employees in describing the progress made thus far in the bond program.

The CBOC is made up of Arlington community members who meet quarterly to review the 2014 Bond Program and then report on their findings and recommendations to the AISD Board of Trustees. To see CBOC meeting materials, visit the bond oversight page.
