Future McNutt Elementary goes vertical
Feb. 26, 2016 - The future Sandy McNutt Elementary is starting to look like a real building. The school at Volunteer Drive and Center Street has been under construction for several months, but steel just began to be erected this week.
The work until now has included many tasks related to getting the site ready and installing utilities and foundation.
The construction of McNuttt Elementary is being managed by Balfour Beatty Construction, following plans designed by Corgan. McNutt is scheduled to open in August for the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
