June 27, 2016 – The AISD Board of Trustees approved the guaranteed maximum price for bond-funded construction projects at four schools at the June 23 board meeting. Now the district will proceed with construction at Farrell Elementary, Sherrod Elementary, Nichols Junior High and Turning Point Junior High.

Both Farrell and Sherrod will receive two STEM labs, a strings room and security vestibule, along with a number of life-cycle and deficiency upgrades. Nichols and Turning Point will also receive a number of life-cycle and deficiency upgrades.
